SHL pre-qualified for the transformation and extension of Vejle Library

Together with Hoffmann and Artelia, we have been pre-qualified for the transformation and extension of Vejle Library.

The project aims to renovate the existing library building from 1971 and add more square metres to unite the city’s library and School of Music and Culture under one roof. The new library and culture house will provide an evocative new cultural gathering point with spaces for a wide range of cultural activities and exchange, formal and informal meetings, knowledge, and community building. Focus on acoustics, a healthy indoor climate, inflows of daylight and aesthetics is at the heart of the municipality’s vision to offer a multi-functional house that fosters synergies between activities, people, the old and the new, ultimately creating wellbeing and quality of life for the citizens of the beautiful city by the fjord.
