Over the past decade schmidt hammer lassen architects has gained extensive experience in masterplanning and urban regeneration projects in locations throughout the world including Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Denmark, China, the United Arab Emirates, and the UK ranging in scale from small mixed use brownfield site developments to the planning of a new city for several thousand inhabitants.
We approach masterplanning and urban regeneration projects with an understanding of urban evolution and integration, and with a commitment to holistic sustainability. The desire of each masterplan is to create a neighbourhood that is recognisable and unique while yet paying regard to the context of its surroundings.
