The other projects shortlisted are ‘Recreational Areas’ by the Municipality of Copenhagen, ‘Cultural Center and library Nordvest’ by COBE/Transform, ‘Healthcare Center for Cancer’ by Nord Architects, and ‘8House’ by Bjarke Ingels Group.
The winner will be announced on Friday 20th January 2012 at the yearly New Year’s reception held at the House of Architects, the premises of the Danish Architects’ Association at Strandgade in Copenhagen.
Årets Arne Award was established in 2007 by the Danish Architects’ Association’s local branch in Copenhagen. The award recognizes architecture which has contributed to the architectural innovation of Copenhagen, and thus it represents collegial recognition and acclaim.
