City of Westminster College shortlisted for RIBA Award

More than 114 projects were entered in London, all of which have been visited by the RIBA judges, making it “the most rigorously judged awards programme in the world.” With the award, RIBA (The Royal Institute of British Architects) celebrates buildings of a high architectural standard which contribute significantly to the local community.
The new flagship Campus for City of Westminster College by schmidt hammer lassen architects is designed to embrace interaction and diversity and allow students to learn from each other, both formally and informally. The project, won in a competition in 2006, was finished in January 2011.
The winner will be announced on May 19th 2011.
