The HKIA Annual Awards was instituted in 1965 with an aim to recognize outstanding works of local architects.
The Jury consisted of four members apart from the Overseas Juror; Mr Jurgen Bey, designer of Studio Makkink & Bey, as Lay Juror, Ms. Au Chung Leung Joanlin & Dr. Chan Lai Kiu as accomplished HKIA Senior Members, and Ms. Chiu Hang Mei Mary Grace, recipient of the Young Architect Award 2008 as the Young Architect Juror.
